Anybody that can manage to fly a broom half-way efficiently, I'm looking for you!
I had my first real lesson with the first years today, and it was really dreadful at first a bit of a slow start. Only one minor injury though! Anyway, I've come up with a really grand idea, and I hope people are willing to help out with. I can teach the kids the basics, and some of them are really coming along and showing some talent, but there are definitely some who need more one-on-one instruction.
I've been trying to give as much of that as I can, but with a class my size and just myself to teach them all, I feel like some of the quieter students are getting left in the dust. That being the case, I made a sign-up sheet for any of the kids who would like to learn extra bits on the weekends (since we know flying is a brilliant and invaluable skill to have that every witch and wizard should at least try to learn!), but now I need some volunteers to help me out. I think the kids will do loads better with like, older mentors of sorts to show them the ropes on top of my own instructing! Like flying buddies!
Right now, I've got myself and one other person but about fifteen students. Fifth years and up, I'm expecting some of you lot to lend a hand for at least a couple of hours! Come talk to me about it in my office I have an office, that's so weird! and if you're interested, we'll fix you right up with a wee one.
There might even be some points in it for the most helpful of all the houses! Cheers!
